Back2School 2021: Volunteers Needed!
Each school year, First Baptist joins with churches and organizations all over the region to provide backpacks, school supplies, and new shoes and socks to children.

We also need your help!
This year it will be a drive-thru event and volunteers are needed for:
- Registration #1: Saturday, July 10th, 9:00 a.m. to Noon
Measuring feet and directing traffic. Registration #2: Tuesday, July 20th, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. - Measuring feet and directing traffic. Packing the Backpacks: Wednesday, August 4th, 5:30-until
700 Commerce Court, Martinsville
8-10 Volunteers needed Big Event: Saturday, August 7, 9:00 a.m.-Noon - Backpack organizers/distribution and prayer team
The registration where parents bring their children to register to receive these items is Saturday, July 10, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to noon and Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. In the city, the registration location is Albert Harris Elementary School. Children must be present to register to receive socks, shoes, and backpacks (to ensure sizing of orders).
Once registered, children will come with their parents on Saturday, August 7, 2021 to receive their items. This year, it will be held as a drive-thru pickup.
