CBF and ELC School to School Partnership 2026

Early Learning Center’s School to School Partnership with Cooperative Baptist Fellowship

First Baptist Church’s ELC has developed a partnership with a child development center in Mexico City through Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. The center is located in the community of Tepiplly in Mexico City and their program is called EduK. They are also learning about the school through video and exchanging cards.  ELC has committed to giving $1,000 per year and special offerings.

They operate a two generation approach center that ensures the wellbeing of children in the community of Tepipilly in Mexico City, a human settlement located in the outskirts of the city. Their children receive all day care, nutrition support, and high-quality education. This center also serves pregnant women, providing them and their children with wrap around services, beginning at pregnancy, and for the first five years of their children’s lives.

The program is called EduK and nurtures children’s minds, bodies, and spirits by providing high-quality early education and empowering their parents to cultivate thriving children. EduK is committed to lasting and transformative outcomes for children and families in Latin America and the Caribbean. We have built a family of organizations to provide a robust and resilient platform for delivering on our mission and partnering with businesses, foundations and civil society organizations dedicated to improving lives in lasting ways. Although each member of the family operates differently, together they are guided by the same vision: Intervening in the lives of disadvantaged children – by providing better education, and helping their parents support them better at home.
