Scripture includes: 1 John 3:1-3 and Matthew 5:1-12

Rev. Dr. Libby Grammer will preach a sermon entitled, “A Faithful Legacy

As we honor those faithful saints who have gone before us, remembering their legacies and cherishing their memories, we ought to ask ourselves: what will my legacy be? Will I be remembered as someone who followed the Way of Jesus faithfully?

Today is All Saints’ Sunday in the Christian year. All Saints’ Day, November 1, is also known as All Hallows’ Day; its eve gave us the term “Halloween.” We celebrate All Saints’ Day in worship on the first Sunday in November, memorializing the saintly status of all Christian people, especially those we have lost from our own church family in the last year. The liturgical color is white, signifying that it is Christ who lives in the saints.

Giving of our Resources

Please continue to give generously to the ministries of our church in 2023, whether in-person or online here – or mail / drop off your tithes and offerings to the church office. Your gifts help us to continue to minister through in-person and virtual church services, Bible studies, ministry to the community, and more.

Thank you for providing for the mission and ministry of First Baptist Church!
