Back2School 2022: Volunteers Needed!
Each school year, First Baptist joins with churches and organizations all over the region to provide backpacks, school supplies, and new shoes and socks to children.
Your generosity helps us to support this important ministry. Thank you.
We also need your help!
This year it will be held at the Uptown Ministry Center and volunteers are needed for:
- Registration #1: Saturday, July 9th, 9:00 a.m. to Noon-Uptown Ministry Center-register the names and measure their feet.
- Registration #2: Tuesday, July 19th, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.-Uptown Ministry Center-register the names and measure their feet.
- Pack the Bus: July 15-17-Walmart Shifts TBD
- Filling Backpacks: Tuesday, August 2nd, 6:00 p.m.-700 Commerce Court, Martinsville
- The Big Event: Saturday, August 6th, 7:30 a.m.-Uptown Ministry Center

Wear your Back2School t-shirt for all events. If you wish to purchase a new one they are $6.00. Please call the church office by July 5th to volunteer for one or more events!
