Back2School 2023: Volunteers Needed!
Each school year, First Baptist joins with churches and organizations all over the region to provide backpacks, school supplies, and new shoes and socks to children.
Your generosity helps us to support this important ministry. Thank you.
We also need your help!
This year it will be held at the Uptown Ministry Center and volunteers are needed for:
- Registration #1: Saturday, July 15th, 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.-Uptown Ministry Center-register the names and measure their feet.
- Registration #2: Tuesday, July 25th, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.-Uptown Ministry Center-register the names and measure their feet.
- Pack the Bus: July 21-23-Walmart Shifts TBD
- Filling Backpacks: Tuesday, August 1st, 6:00 p.m.-700 Commerce Court, Martinsville
- The Big Event: Saturday, August 5th, 7:30 a.m.-Uptown Ministry Center
