This year, our stewardship emphasis is Following The Way of Jesus because we recognize that none other than the Son of God can move our hearts to the kind of life of generosity and love we are called to as followers of The Way. How can we, like the disciples and apostles before us, live into that calling from God in Jesus Christ?
Today is Commitment Sunday at First Baptist Church. During the service, in addition to blessing our tithes and offerings, our church family prayerfully presents their financial pledges to God and the ministries of this church for the coming year. (If you haven’t had a chance to fill yours out yet, please make your heart dedication today and mail/email your pledge card this week to the church office).
