“The Big Fish” Musical

Our FBC ELC school-age Children’s Choir invites you to the performance of the Children’s Musical, “The Big Fish”. The musical will be on Friday, August 11, 2023 at noon in the Sanctuary.
“The Big Fish” is a children’s musical by Grace Hawthorne and Ken Medema that tells the story of Jonah from the perspective of a Sam Spade style 40’s detective through music and dialogue. Directed by Rev. David Cameron, the ELC older children’s choir has worked on this musical through the summer term and look forward to sharing it with you.
As a choir we learned about singing, music basics, public speaking, and dramatic reading, along with the story of the prophet Jonah. Our presentation will take about twenty five minutes, and we hope you will join us in the FBC Sanctuary on Friday, August 11th at 12 noon. There’s nothing like a mystery!
