Scripture includes: Isaiah 60:1-12 and Matthew 2:1-12

Rev. Dr. Libby Grammer will preach a sermon entitled, “Following the Star: All Are Welcome”

All the nations shall come to God’s light. Invitations are sent, the star is in the sky, awaiting us all. Rejoicing is on the horizon.

Today is Epiphany Sunday in the Christian year. Epiphany (January 6) celebrates the manifestation of God in Jesus Christ. The season after the Epiphany continues this emphasis, calling attention to the words and deeds of Jesus’ earthly ministry by which his divine sonship is made manifest. The liturgical color for Epiphany Sunday is white, symbolic of the purity of Christ.

Giving of our Resources

Please continue to give generously to the ministries of our church in 2024, whether in-person or online here – or mail / drop off your tithes and offerings to the church office. Your gifts help us to continue to minister through in-person and virtual church services, Bible studies, ministry to the community, and more.

Thank you for providing for the mission and ministry of First Baptist Church!
