“Christmas through a Child’s Eyes”

Virtual Christmas Pageant 2020

Can you believe that we are already getting our annual Children’s Christmas Pageant together? This year’s pageant is virtual (of course) and it’s called “Christmas through a Child’s Eyes.”

Join us for a Live Stream of the Pageant

Wednesday, December 23rd at 6:30 p.m.

The video will air on Facebook Live, YouTube Live, or call-in on Zoom (audio only: Call Toll-Free 1-833-548-0276 and enter Meeting ID: 276 632 6336).

Sugarplum fairies and toy soldiers and lights and songs fill a child’s eyes this season. With our Minister of Music Becky Collins leading the songs and our ELC Director Beth Kotchish directing the classes, our children will experience the magic, the wonder, and the joy of Christmas. Our youngest children will perform to traditional Christmas music, including “Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy” (toddlers), “Babes in Toyland” (Twos), and “Jingle Bells” (Pre-K3). Then our older children will lead us through the real reason for the season: the birth of Jesus. Our Pre-K4 and Scholars (Virtual Learners) will fill the nativity scene and read the story from Luke 2 of the birth of Christ. Our Pre-K4 class and Scholars will sing “Away in a Manger” and “I Saw Three Ships.”

And as we told our parents, safety is as important as fun. We’ll be filming one class at a time in the sanctuary, and surfaces will be disinfected between filming.
