Rev. Dr. Libby Grammer will preach a sermon entitled, “Radical Inclusion”

The Gospel of Jesus is so much more expansive and inclusive than we sometimes are comfortable with. What do we do when God reveals in Jesus that we are to love those who are different from us, to honor them with baptism into our community?

Today is the Fifth Sunday of Easter. Easter Sunday was the beginning of the season of Eastertide in the liturgical year. Eastertide is celebrated from Easter Sunday for fifty days, until the day of Pentecost, and focuses on the meaning of Christ’s resurrection. The liturgical color is white, symbolizing light, victory, and eternal life.

Giving of our Resources

Please continue to give generously to the ministries of our church in 2021, whether in-person or online here or mail / drop off your tithes and offerings to the church office. Your gifts help us to continue to minister through virtual church services, Bible studies, ministry to the community, and more.

Thank you for providing for the mission and ministry of First Baptist Church!
