Malachi is a Hebrew name, but it also means, “My Messenger.” And Malachi’s message in our passage today was one that wouldn’t have been easy to hear. Another messenger was on the way, he said, and this one would refine and cleanse the leaders of the faith. In what ways is God’s Messenger in Jesus Christ refining us today? Will the big “C” word (Change) do us in or refine us into pure gold?
