New MHC Warming Center is Open!

The Martinsville & Henry County Warming Center has re-opened in its new location – Forest Hills Presbyterian Church!

A fundraiser breakfast will be held at the Checkered Pig on Saturday, January 11th 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Click here for more information.

The Warming Center provides a safe, warm overnight stay for those experiencing homelessness when temperatures are below 35 degrees.

If you are interested in volunteering, training opportunities are being held at the center. The next (and potentially final) training opportunity is January 13, 2020 at 7:00PM at FHPC. Click here for more information.

You can find more information on the Warming Center Facebook Page, or you may call the new Warming Center contact person, Cristen Anderson, at 276-358-1755 or iwanttohelpwc@gmail.com.
