Rev. Dr. Libby Grammer will preach a sermon entitled, “A Parade of Change”
Jesus enters Jerusalem in our familiar story of the triumphal entry. But he does so in a way no one is expecting at the time – he’s not on a steed, but a donkey. He’s not bearing weapons, but comes in peace. He’s not coming as a powerful king in the traditional sense; he’s coming as a servant-leader. This parade is not what everyone thinks it is – and it’s bringing about serious changes to the understanding of who God is and who God’s people are called to be. I wonder – in a season where we too are in the midst of changing all we understand about life, ministry, and connectedness, what this parade of change has to teach us anew.

Giving of our Resources
Please continue to give generously to the ministries of our church, even as we cannot meet in person each week. You can give online here or mail your tithes and offerings to the church office. Your gifts help us to continue to offer ministry to our church members through virtual church services, Bible studies, ministry to the community, and more.
Also – don’t forget that we are participating in the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship Offering for Global Missions in this season, too.
Pray & Give – our goal as a church is $2,000, and we have raised $1,932.50 thus far. We hope to meet and exceed our gifts for CBF’s good work!
Lastly, if you are willing to pick up medications or groceries or other needed items for those who cannot get out, please let the church office know. As we assess the needs of our church and wider community, we may have a job for you! Pick ups can be done through grocery ordering, and drop offs may be done at doorsteps to continue the good practice of social distancing. Thank you!
