Dear Church Family,
We have reopened our church offices and the Early Learning Center today, thankfully with no further instances of illness or positive test cases of COVID-19! We are opening with some updated hours and restrictions to protect our staff and church family as cases of COVID-19 continue to rise in our area, though. Our Early Learning Center is increasing restrictions to ensure strict separation of classes so that if we have another case of the virus, we can close down just one class and not need to close the whole program for quarantine.
For our church office, we will be working to cut down on unnecessary face-to-face interaction in the coming days. We are going to limit in-person office hours for the staff, and we ask that church members refrain from entering the building unless there is specific need to do so. If you need to come by to drop off or pick up any items, Mary and Kaylee will be available to meet you at the door (masked/keeping distance) and can also arrange pickup with no in-person interaction outside the front door.

Friday – Closed (Working from home as needed)
Remember too that we will not hold in-person worship or meetings until at least November 29, 2020 (the first Sunday of Advent). The Coordinating Council will make the decision of whether to continue worship only virtually or both virtually and in-person beginning in Advent when they meet again in mid-November. We will contact the church at that time with our decision.
But whether we re-gather in person or not, you are always welcome to worship virtually online or by phone (number below). We are loving our neighbor by maintaining our distance, wearing masks, and practicing good hygiene – so worship from home is faithful and appropriate to the work of God’s Kingdom where the second greatest commandment is to love our neighbor! We definitely continue to miss your physical presence, though, and we all look forward to big hugs, handshakes, and singing together again when it’s safe to do so.
This Sunday, November 8, 2020, we will then celebrate All Saints’ Sunday at 11:00AM virtually from the Sanctuary, broadcast on YouTube, Facebook, and GoTo Meeting. Next week on November 15th, we will celebrate Commitment Sunday. You will receive a letter with our 2021 Ministry Plan and Budget summary, along with your pledge cards, in the mail shortly.
