Rev. Dr. Libby Grammer will preach a sermon entitled, “Heart, Lips, and Feet Faith”
Much has been quoted from our Romans passage this week. This passage is often cited as a step on the “Roman Road” plan of salvation: Follow these steps quoted from Paul’s theology in Romans, and you’ll have salvation checked off your list! But perhaps there’s more to Paul’s intricate theology in his letters to the Romans. Maybe figuring out salvation was more scandalous for these early Christians than we realize now. Paul says to the Roman church that God has come through for the Gentiles (read: *those people*) and that we are all on the same page now: “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” And this is a faith we believe deep in our hearts, one which should flow out of our lips and our hands and our feet naturally. Thus, those who claim to follow Jesus has some work to do – sharing, in various ways for varying contexts, the story of the life and teaching and death and resurrection of the incarnate God we follow.

Giving of our Resources
Please continue to give generously to the ministries of our church, even as we cannot meet in person each week. You can give online here or mail / drop off your tithes and offerings to the church office. Your gifts help us to continue to minister through virtual church services, Bible studies, ministry to the community, and more.
