Rev. Dr. Libby Grammer will preach a sermon entitled, “Interdependence is Key”
The doctrine of the Trinity is a roadmap of how to understand the relationship of God within Godself. But it’s also a roadmap for humanity, God’s children, to live in interdependence together.
Today is Trinity Sunday in the Christian year, when we proclaim the church’s belief in a Triune God—Father, Son, Holy Spirit. It is a day in which we praise and worship the infinitely complex and unfathomable mystery of God’s being as Holy Trinity, One in Three, Three in One. The liturgical color for Trinity Sunday is white, symbolizing God’s purity and perfection.
